he isnt afraid to be himself and speaks what he thinks instead of what people wanna hear from him and he also has his own sense in style

Oh, there really is too much to write down here ..

Something that made so obsessed with him, is that he is so mysterious .. Many fans may say that they know so much about his personality and the things he will do ,, - but I don't think so ..

That's also one of the things that makes him so unique compared to other actors .. Sure, there are many actors out there who have chosen a bit different roles in their lives, but noone like Johnny .. I've never managed to explain what makes him unique compared to other actors .. I know the answer, it is in my head, but I can't write it down really ..
You just .. You can never know what role he chooses next, .. You never know what he is going to say next, the only thing you know is that he is going to say or do something reeeaally loveable .. (loveable, is that even a word? )

Another thing is that he has this kinda ... comforting quality about him. It seems like he's calm. Always. Calm in every situation ..
He sorta brings out the best in me, even though he doesn't know me .. Kinda weird, actually.
Something I have noticed is that no matter how many times people say how much they love him, or how talented and handsome he is, he will never actually believe them. He's too modest for that... too shy. It's incredibly cute. He's VERY down to earth.

Some other reasons that I got addicted:
-He's not regretting anything he have done.
-He always manages to take a good role, and plays it so it get's even better than it was in the beginning.
-He doesn't care about money, he chooses his roles because they mean something to him.

About the film performance:
Sleepy Hollow. I was 8-9 years old when I saw that, and I couldn't help to notice that there was something special with him .. He wasn't like the other actors in that movie. He kinda .. shined trough. There and then you could see so much about him, sorta see what person he was .
Some days after, I read an interview, and when I read I was like "Whooa..." because he said something incredibly smart in every sentence ,, He talked and talked, and said so many qoutes and smart sentences it seemed it was the easiest thing he could do. I was sooo amazed!

That - and sooo many more reasons too ( that I never can write down at a simple post) - is the reason that I suffer from JDOCD and will always be a Johnny Depp Fan ;)

That thing about Vanessa .. I must say thay I completely agree with you. There are so many fans out there that says "I HATE Vanessa!" and all that stuff. How can they hate her? I mean, she is a lovely person, and there got to be a reason why Johnny loves her , ,so .. I can't really understand them.

I'm just happy for her. She has found the love of her live, he has found the love of his life .. And she could never choose someone better for her.
So why hate her ?

I agree, if I hadn't knew who he was, I had been a much more different person then I am now ..
He have helped me trough a lot of my problems, and I have just learned so much from him. Learned great and inspiring things that can help me .. help everybody .. trough life ..

I couldn't possibly lived without him.. There'd be no chance ..

Well, I agree with everything that's already been said. It's hard to say what it is about Johnny that makes him amazing. I once tried, and ended up writing 20 pages, I'm not kidding. His whole being is lovable.

What initially fascinated me about Johnny was just his acting. I remember thinking way back that "even if Johnny is a horrible person, wouldn't it be great to work with him just to see him act, just to see him bring to life a character."

But what I think is most amazing about Johnny is that he doesn't think about the world in categories and labels, like the majority of the people. He can look at people and honestly see people, not some label. He has a totally pure view. It makes him beyond sincere and it's a way more extraordinary characteristic than it initially seems.

It completely turned the way I view people and the world upside down. Johnny seems to understand the fact that normal can be weirder than abnormal, depending on how you look at it. And it seems to come naturally to him not to judge and have prejudice. And that's what I think makes him most unique.

On a personal level it has also given me comfort and strength to deal with the parts of my life that are considered weird or abnormal by the "normal world". I now tend to look at people and laugh, simply because we're all so "insane" (as Johnny would say). :]
